Which one of you have quit their day job to trade full-time?
Is it sustainable? What word of advice can you offer?

>> No.12505147

yeah i quit december 16th 2017. its been pretty quite an eye opening experience - no joke. ive went from a nice /comfy/ 1 bedroom apartment with a car, job, warmth, food to using mcds wi-fi to get "online", been sleeping at the local shelter, and waiting for my bitcorners to rebound soon. i had 25 btc at the peak, im holding 0.3 right now. hopefully it gets to 1m sooner so i can at least enjoy some of it lol.

Horrible idea. Hard to believe anyone would do this. You have to be in the top 1% of traders.

Need at least 20k a day to day trade. I've been making a steady 700$ a day trading lite coin.

Same, I quit after the Jan alt bubble popped. At my peak I only had 10BTC. Now at 0.5BTC. Wouldn't advise anyone to do the same, but I don't regret anything, I've learnt so much during my neet time and have started a consultancy business around crypto, trading is great but needs more $ from another income to allow you to have a large mistake buffer.

kek, all you know is how to hodl and lose everything. Heres some advice:
1) have small exit targets. I exit every 2%
2)don't chase pumps
3)pick multiple coins to trade
4)learn TA

Alright you stupid fucking morons. You didn't have 25btc. You didn't have 10btc. You had some random shitcoins. Fucking retards. I had 21btc at the peak and I still have 21btc because I actually had 21 fucking btc. I also have half a million dollars worth of alts that was worth 5 million at the peak. Don't even know or care how much btc that was.

>> No.12505429

I did, but I make $24k on /weg/s on the side I split with other NEETs here.

>Is it sustainable?
Yes

>What word of advice can you offer?
The gist is that you CAN cross huge trades before 99% of the normies do and get your limit order filled before the normies front run you.

I dropped out of college to work and pay interest on loans and several maxed out credit cards in 2017
Initial 15k
ATH 430k
Now about 56k

Satisfied but apprehensive. Dayjob is pretty entry level af. All it takes is one good investment to go from "oh shit what the fuck" to Wagecucks BTFO but it does induce a powerful nihilism in regard to traditional employment.

Invest in myself? Why? Chainlink will be of more value than I could ever hope to be, unironically. About 30% of people could get a bullet in their head tomorrow and the world would keep spinning. I see massive unemployment in the future as human labor simply doesn't matter as much as it used to. These networks will phase out a lot of white collar jobs and i am in a position to benefit off that and secure my family for generations (will beat sense into my children)

A bit schizo? Yes, but im seeing the world around me and I'm not going to alter my perspective based on other people's fee-fees and "muh way it has always been!". There are more college graduates than jobs, more immigrants to take the Eatstreet and Postmates delivery positions, tradies will thrive until people abandon the uni meme and then its ALL FUCKED. This WILL put downward pressure on wages, salaries, companies have NO INCENTIVE to let you grow old and siphon profit for your service, you will get fucked and CHAD under-30 will take your job and do it better for table scraps.

My fear is in jumping the gun - i may be up to 15 years early, this bubble may continue, but no fortune is made without a bedrock of conviction. Being poor doesnt even matter that much except for starting a family (which is the gayest thing you can do if you have not self-actualized).

Meantime, i will work less than others and acclimate to NEEThood. We will inherit the Earth.
Tl;dr by absolutely NO METRIC can someone look me in the eye and say wagecuckery has a bright future on a 25 year timespan, im not going to get caught dead without my digital dubloons
