I've been getting those "need to buy something feelings." I'm thinking of selling 4k of my 30k link to buy an intense gaming laptop for VR and art or a Cintiq pro mobile studio or a really good bike. Or selling half of it and buying a car. I don't want to go through that damn "why didn't I sell" feelings. I put $1500 into crypto summer 2015 and have never sold anything (other than to buy link). I just don't know how many more times I can take the whole link dropping to 20c and feeling like an idiot thing again. I have zero confidence the price will go up during these upcoming talks and on the main net release months from now or that the fundamental value of link will make it worth even 50c.

Anyone else losing hope?

Why can’t link nodes put up ETH for collateral. Easily can do automatic ETH/USD transfers. Using a DAI doesn’t make sense because stable coins need oracles to retrieve the peg data etc. but I really don’t see why you can’t have a network of oracles that are all staking ETH.
