Not much probably, as it's fundamentally linking its value to a scam browser.

It will never be worth more than $1 as that would defeat the purpose of the token.

I hate how everything is called a scam. It makes real scams have an easier time because people hear the accusation so much. If someone says BAT is a scam OK I get that but how tf can the browser itself be a scam unless it has some malware built in or something.

It's interesting and sad how passionate people are about BAT. People get so passionate about shit like that because they are living such empty lives, that's all they have. They don't really do anything, stand for anything, believe in anything. They just go to work, go to sleep. So they have to care a lot about a shitcoin or they'd put a bullet through their head if they didn't have that escape.

Weird projection.

BAT is trying to change the entire online advertising industry and change the way we use the Internet, as we know it. That’s exciting. If you can’t see how BAT parallels the entire Bitcoin creation (see something important that is immensely broken and corrupt -> use novel tech to try and fix it) then you’re a cynic.

I love the doubt this coin gets and the fact that /biz/ shits on it, claims it’ll never happen. That’s that SomethingAwful Buttcoin vibe, that 2016 ETH vibe. Doubters and cynics, even on /biz/. Good times ahead BAT bro’s, keep the faith.

WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER

DO NOT UNDER ESTIMATE THE POWER OF POSITIVE THOUGHT! ESPECIALLY COLLECTIVE POSITIVE THOUGHT!

THIS SHIT IS GOING TO REACH $1,000 EASILY!
HOLD THAT THOUGHT AND VISUALIZE IT IN YOUR MIND EVERYDAY AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE STARTING NOW AND IT WILL MANIFEST INTO REALITY. DO IT! I'M NOT JOKING!

VISUALIZE AS OFTEN AND AS DETAILED AS POSSIBLE!

This is so sad. Brave Software has lost control of the token through a faustian bargain (ICO) with anonymous millionaires who now use the token for pump and dump schemes.

The token should be like tether with Brave in 100% control and able to manipulate supply to keep the price stable.

BAT is a frankestein monster at this point. It's not decentralized (Brave Rewards Server) and none of the in browser transactions are shown on the blockchain.

BAT has all the negative qualities of a crypto (volatility, slow) and none of the benefits as the entire thing runs through Brave Rewards Server and requires KYC.

Brave never got rid of any middle-men. In fact they added two more layers of middle-men! Brave takes a cut and so does Uphold.

It's just so ridiculous at this point.

Are you the same guy that posts this same argument over and over on the BAT Subreddit? How many times does this need to be discredited? How many times do you have to reread Brendan Eich’s explanation about why the Basic Attention Token is necessary as a cryptocurrency?

Oh well, your loss. It’s potentially game changing in so many ways, and has a solid team behind it to boot. No amount of anonymous user FUD on a Morrocan Basket Weaving forum can say otherwise.

How does that affect Brave/BAT’s potential in any way?

I just cannot wrap my head around how stupid you would have to be to think this project could run off the blockchain or on ETH or on some shady fucking tether stablecoin knock-off. Mind boggling to think there are 4channers who are stupid enough to think they’re smarter than Brendan Eich and honestly believe they have BAT all figured out.

How arrogant would you have to be to think you’re smarter than the entire Brave team and the million dollar VC’s behind Brave, it’s pretty funny. We’ll see down the line anyways, no point in arguing about it now. Brave 1.0 doesn’t even exist yet.

It doesn't matter you absolute retard. If you seriously think companies that use crypto won't keep private sidechains, you are deluded and even dumber than I realized. Brave is the first to do it because they are smart and have an actual product, unlike whatever dumbass projects scammed you out of your money

Lmfao. Just fuck off you absolute retard. You spouting this memey parroted bullshit makes me want to puke. Imagine thinking you could give people micropayments of USD for watching online ads, or thinking Brave could stock up on ETH or Bitcoin and award it to users with a good-faith belief that users would in turn use it in the Brave ecosystem.

Get real. I undoubtedly know more about this project than you ever will, and you’re just making a fool of yourself by parroting the bullshit you’ve heard before.

Micropayments dont have anything to do with centralisation (hint: you can tell I was talking about centralisation because I used the word "centralisation"). Drawbacks of centralisation include having to do KYC, and having authorities arbitrarily decide how you may or may not spend your own money. Sound familiar?
