I feel like this must have been what is was like during the Cold War and all that spy vs spy shit was going on. Director of Counterintelligence Angleton (I believe) coined the phrase “wilderness of mirrors.” So much of counterespionage was not so much protecting your secrets, as waging a war of disinformation. It’s kind of weird to think that I’m (I think) inside it by being on /biz. I’m a typical normie Gen X dude. Try to explain /biz to my friends and they kind of react with horror. I feel 99% sure that biz is right about chainlink. It’s surreal now but, if things keep going the way they are going, it’s going to be exponentially more surreal in a few years.

I mean, in the history of capitalism, when, say the railroads were taking off, was there a widespread movement by the predecessors of bizraelis to fud certain railroad projects?
