yes. but daytrading without bots is a fool's errand. the longer your time horizon the less bots should worry you

My problem lately is stop loss placement. Seems like every time I set a stop loss it get hunted by bots and the price dips and immediately recovers and continues to rise, meanwhile I'm stopped out and miss the gains.

why not do a stop buy instead of selling?
as long as you are somewhat sure the price will go in the direction you want within your timeframe then this should work out

Buy and hold good projects. This doesnt work in crypto but is much more likely to work for the stock market

You can beat them by low frequency trading, any attempts to steel ticks either way will see you stopped out more often than not given what youre up against.
