Cut all my spending and threw away 30% of my things. Started saving 2k a month. Now I have 20k in the bank. (Thanks to an anon who posted about the minimalist lifestyle.)

Spending doesn't make me happy anymore because adding anything to my space ruins the zen. I threw out most unnecessary things, sold my crypto stack and gave away my LINK to the poor. Now I live stress free and clutter free.

Hell I don't even have cups, saw a kid drinking out of a puddle with his hands and I thought "you know I could do that" so I tossed all my unnecessary cups and now drink from the tap with my hands and mouth.

Bite the bullet anon, happiness is the removal of things.

You have just started.
I feel like a Jew when spending any money, almost physical pain.

Try to explain that to my wife...

Minimalism is easy when you're living alone. Hard to do if you want a family because of the unexpected expenses and having to get them on-board with living that way. Plus if you have kids you want to be able to pay for things to give them opportunities, whether it's a college fund or money for coaches/tutors, or whatever else. If I was determined to be single the rest of my life I'd probably just live in a shack somewhere.

I save money by renting my house to Airbnb while living in a van in my own backyard. I like the minimalism and my wife loves it too. I'd rather have free time and not work than live in a big house but barely get any time to actually be in that house. I don't have to work because of just one simple Change in my life, vanlife in my own backyard. Thinking of selling the van for a profit (I spent 15k total on it since I but it myself and it can easily sell for 45-50k) and buying a tiny house for about 35-40k. Not having a toilet/shower is a pain, but I do use the bathroom in my house for now so no prob.

happiness is not wanting anything outside of your controll

>Remember that you must behave in life as at a dinner party. Is anything brought around to you? Put out your hand and take your share with moderation. Does it pass by you? Don't stop it. Is it not yet come? Don't stretch your desire towards it, but wait till it reaches you. Do this with regard to children, to a wife, to public posts, to riches, and you will eventually be a worthy partner of the feasts of the gods. And if you don't even take the things which are set before you, but are able even to reject them, then you will not only be a partner at the feasts of the gods, but also of their empire. For, by doing this, Diogenes, Heraclitus and others like them, deservedly became, and were called, divine.

thats an unhealthy sign fren. although its better than the polar opposite (for now in this faggot system). its a weird thing i've seen, stingy people tend to lose their wealth on someone in their life, whether it be "love" or "family", becareful fren, and protect yourself well. spend on yourself a little here and there, give a penny or two to those who "ask". money is energy at the end of the day, and you need to have abit of circulation.

Beautiful pic.
I am going to convert to minimalism. I will finish uni & my part time job, maybe work a few years & then go to a cheap country and put my money in a swiss holding account & continue to invest. Simple life is good life
