My dog acts like a Jewish tax collector. Everytime I sit down to eat, she comes up and begs for her cut. So I give her a small bite of cheese off my sandwich but it's never enough! She wants some of my turkey as well! How do I make my dog stop acting like a jew?

You need to focus on operant conditioning your dog, and the ABC of the situation w/ dog. In other words, what the Antecedent of the situation is, the behavior in that situation, and the consequence youre giving for that behavior.
Right now your giving your dog positive reinforcement, you need to give him positive punishment.

Antecedent, human makes dinner
Behavior. as human for food
consequence, human shares food (reinforcement)

need to change it to

Antecedent, human mankes food
behavior, ask for food
consequence, human gets upset (positive punishment)

I wouldn't be such a dick though, I like sharing my food with my dog. I love her very much and she enjoys food, she is as much family to me as anyone else
