What's meta mask?

>> No.12407287

>>12407284
It’s an exfoliating mask that fills your pores with the best metas i. The face mask space

>> No.12407288

It’s a wallet that runs as a browser plug in. What’s there to know?

>> No.12407289

Just download the MM browser plugin, write down the seed words it generates, and then send Ethereum to it like any other wallet or exchange. Metamask automatically prompts you with a transaction window when you click pay button a website.
It's pretty much what Request Network wanted to do but you don't have to make requests and it doesn't make you go broke.

It's not a cold wallet, it's for interacting with vendors and websites.

I dunno yet, I bought in and made my money back already so that's decent, but i haven't seen the same fomo as powh's launch yet. we'll see if it gets more popular in the coming days.

Cold wallet would be a paper wallet, or hardware wallet. MM is kinda like keeping your shit on an exchange, maybe a little better because they won't exit scam and it's not a big juicy target for hackers. I still wouldn't keep a shitload of money on there though.

Haha I saw that too. Might tosssome spare eth in just in case it blows up.

CSW is satoshi you idiot. BSV $984k EOY or mcAfee will eat his dick. (His bet was for all cumulative bitcoin + forks to reach 1mm EOY)

>> No.12407362

>>12407337
Well it hasn't broken and lost everyone's money yet (as far as I know). Basically by the time those things prove themselves you have missed your chance though. It's still early so it could have a pretty big upside without putting much into it.

Is McAfee just going to serial shitfork Bitcoin a million times then so he weasel his way out on a technicality?

Your private key never leaves the browser. It just uses the key to sign the transaction and put it on the blockchain. The code is open source and has been audited so people would know if tried to do anything malicious.

I use MM for some alpha projects I'm testing out, really simplifies interaction with the hex data. They had some shit bugs in the past and the current recommended gas settings are absolute Jew levels, but it works fine

It's low security but fine if you are using for intended purpose.
