If 90% of smart contracts do require an oracle and smartcontracts do indeed save money then the network usage will rise fast. After that if big whales want to pump it higher on a bull run cycle, then they'll just start spamming reddit, twitter, telegram groups etc. Then they'll start releasing articles about LINK completely hyping it up. Basically like 2018 January, but this time Chainlink will be up and running and actually providing value and thus increasing in value(if it does get finished and works etc).
