I've been on leave since the 5th of December.

I know there's going to be nothing for me to do when I get back, and I'm going to spend weeks sitting around trying to make it look like I'm working. Nothing ever fixes this place, I'm so fucking bored all of the time and no matter how much I ask my boss there's never anything to do. On the few occasions where I do find a small thing to do for another team, I get told off because "we don't have a cost code for that".

I've been applying for other places, but it's going slowly. One place turned me down without even a phone call when I guarantee I was the most qualified applicant. I drafted up a cover letter for another job two days ago, but they closed the application just as I was about to edit and send it.

I hate my job so fucking much, and I hate it so fucking much that it forces me to live 200km (2.5hrs) from my gf.

Almost daily. I only hold on because I enjoy watching other people suffering even more. Trump being elected literally saved my life.
