You know banks have a backend system that holds everyone's account balances? You think it would be better if you could also stream twitch on it?

It's disinflationary anyway. Supply cap is bullshit. By the time Bitcoin hits its cap the world will have changed considerably.

>treated wrongly as a currency
autists have this weird idea that people should categorize things into distinct boxes and think that 'currency' is somehow exclusionary with 'used for fees' not realizing it's synergistic.
Ether is a better currency than bitcoin and is in fact widely used as a currency, most recently as a collateral (store of value) for dai.

There's no cap in bitcoin for over 100 years either after which they'll probably just remove the cap to keep miners mining, assuming bitcoin even exists then(it won't).

Bitcoin should have tried harder to support the Omni sidechain rather than the lightning network, the ability to tokenize on BTC would have kept it relevant against ETHs capabilities, but instead Omni faded into obscurity before it made Tether and other forgotten shitcoins.

funny you say that, currently there's around 19000 ETH mined each day. Currently the demand for locking ETH as collateral in contracts such as MKR for DAI is around 10000/day, this number has only been increasing in the past year. After the hardfork this month the daily mined ETH will reduce to about 12000/day. We're already nearly at an equilibrium where circulating supply is not increasing, it will soon be decreasing.

Tell that to your bitcoin fuckheads.

Bitcoin - off chain computation, on chain verification

Ethereum - on chain computation and verification; basically a world's supercomputer

eth clearly won't have infinite supply.

BUT even if it did, due to proof of stake, it doesn't matter. with PoS, if you hold 0.001% of the total supply, as long as you're using it to secure the network, you're going to keep your share of the total supply at AT LEAST 0.001%, regardless of inflation rate (as you're recevingi your share's % of the inflation)

any coin can be forked to rollback, literally nothing is immutable in that sense. it is an ignored problem, whether the new (((they))) is POW mining cartels or POS massive stakeholders they can literally do whatever they want with supply. Changing the format of currency makes only one fundamental difference - everybody can see what happened. This is also why privacy based coins can never make it, a completely private coin would create the most opaque system in history, for an ant cuck so rapidly getting poorer to think this would somehow benefit them is utterly retarded.

Ethereum is a shitcoin that is incapable of doing what it was intended to do. This is why no one actually uses it. Great concept, terrible execution. 90% of Ethereum's blockchain activity is from mining.
