A thread was just deleted about some cunt wanting to hack someone's computer in the workplace. So I felt it was appropriate to post this:

Since most of us have jobs at businesses (business & finance) I feel it is good to share this tip for you all to safeguard your careers.

There are a lot of blackhats and pedos in the IT field. They chose to learn IT to protect their habits.

An IT person, especially at a smaller company, has full access to your machine with little to no oversight. They can install keyloggers and malware which can infect other devices when you take your WORK computer HOME and connect to your HOME network. This means capturing ANYTHING you type into your work computer - logins, SSNs, passwords. Alternatively, they can make it look as though you are looking at porn on your work computer.

At my last job, some kike told me he modified the logs so it would appear I was looking at porn at work. Needless to say I quit my job right out. I wish I had the foresight to record the conversation because I would have sued the ever living fuck out of that company. I did report to the FBI however.

TL;DR in the workplace, stay away from IT. Or stay out of the computer industry altogether. Never bring your work laptop home. Put a gopro in your work bag if you ever get a bad feeling about someone at work. Be safe.

Here's a story of it happening to someone else, dozens of stories like this out there:

>235 additional offensive pictures were discovered on the hard drive.
>Despite his pleas of innocence and claims of being framed, Thompson was arrested.
>Released on bail and awaiting the impending trial, Thompson and his family were afraid to show up in public due to receiving various threats. Thompson also said that--after returning from suspension to Swanlea secondary school in Whitechapel, east London--he was shunned by "almost all" of the staff.
>Testimonies revealed that Weiner had spoken at a barbecue, displaying his dislike for Thompson and how he wanted to put child porn on the man's laptop so he would be fired. Some of the images that were actually used were level 4, the second most serious.

be nice to your IT guy/dont be an asshole. if you are working on very sensitive projects, never use the provided company hardware device.

in most cases you will fly under the radar. but you should be careful of workplace rivalries, even if they are not someone with an IT background. all they need to do is use buy this device online for 100$ and they can log everything you type on your company machine.

Like I said, if you get an inclination that someone in the workplace has it in for you, start bringing a gopro to work with you and record video (not audio, which is illegal iirc) of things they say to you.

You can try reporting it to the IT manager but you would be surprised how tech illiterate many of them are, they're often times very lazy as well. Even worse for you if they like said scumbag they will say something along the lines of "Ha, I don't think David would do something like that. I wouldn't worry".

Best bet is report it to the FBI. Local police probably won't do shit for you.

Don't depend on OTHER people to keep your shit safe.

DON'T use your work computer for personal activities and don't bring it home. Or set up a separate network at home for your work computer.

>>12342490
You don't even have to be an asshole to them, as you said, if they feel you are their competition or rival, they might try something like this.

IT technician here, thanks for the ideas!

Nah I'm pretty chill and let/help them install games on their work devices. People are not their jobs, they are people.

Doesn't matter - people need to be particularly concerned about IT because they have administrative access over the entire network.

Oh I totally agree with the threads sentiment, never trust a work device. Not even the bosses seem to be aware we can access every one of their emails (even ones where they have incriminated themselves). Useful If they try to jew me I suppose.
