If I live like a complete poorfag I can save 9k a year when all the bills are said and done and having a 2k a year budget for “fun”. I’ll be able to find a better job in a year or two when I have more experience in my field but even then I can’t see it being much more than a 10-15k payraise which probably equates to another 7.5-10k saved a year if I continue living like a poor fag and take 0 vacations.

I save about 20% of my paycheck (in addition 60 a 10% 401k contribution match) and the rest goes to mortgage and other things. If you ever want to retire you need to be saving a decent amount of your take home per month.

I look for side jobs or stupid things I can do on Fiverr or something for extra "fun" money.
