12331746 No.12331746 [Reply] [Original]

I am 24 and i lost all my money $82,450. the currencies went to $0 for 7 min and it happened so fast that my stop losses were ignored. I spent the last 6 years growing my account slowly just for it all to vanish in the blink of an eye. My whole life is in ruins and i can't even afford rent or bills now at this point. To make matters even worse, last year around this time my ATH in crypto was 100k from a 2k inital deposit.
After losing in both crypto and traditional markets (not my fault due to flash crash) i seriously want to kill myself. This is it, will use my dad's pistol to end my pathetic existence. See you on the other side.

And yet when 2020 comes and Bitcoin is totally dead, you still won't do it. You'll delay it yet again, just like everything else in your life. There is no "tomorrow" for such things. You either do it now, or don't. That's the reality.

Retard.

Make personal connections of your own OP. Find fulfillment in other ways, through education, fitness, being the best person you can be. This is the true way to happiness. People on this board deluded themselves that they will get rich off of magic beans, and then they can use the money to make up for failures of their past. When in reality all most of them need to do is start socializing and going to school/job hunting.

Money comes, and money goes. Jimmy the Greek said something along the lines of a gambler will be on top of the world, and have nothing, at least ten times in their life. Be careful of that last time.

I know such an overwhelming setback is hard. But I have been there as well. I have wanted to kill myself. Laying in bed sick for weeks just thinking about what seemed like in unobtainable amount of money I lost.

Money can always be taken from you. It's a piece of paper backed by nothing. You can spend your whole life amassing millions of dollars and lose it in the end even if you make all the right decisions. Keep going, and become a person that does not need money for validation or happiness, because they have it from within. That is something that can't be taken from you until the day you die.

>Money can always be taken from you. It's a piece of paper backed by nothing.

Yes, but sadly money rules this world. It is the difference between literally being able to buy people's souls in exchange for it and dying homeless under a bridge. And unless you are one of the privileged few, you have to play their game to survive. And then, all the things you say don't really matter, because they don't care, and they're the ones who pay you. The money they give you keeps a roof over your head. It keeps food on your table. It keeps clothes on your back. And as soon as you try and break free and live the life you speak of, they fire you for not fitting into the right box, and then that's it.

The only way to escape from this is to make it. OP clearly doesn't have what it takes to do this. He keeps failing again, and again, and again, and it will continue like this in the future. There is only one answer at this point. It's just a matter of whether OP has what it takes to pull the trigger or if he will fail at that too, like everything else.

I don't know that this will help you but back in the previous bull market I put in 1/2 of my networth by selling a shitty rent house I'd fixed up. I turned $25K into $3K buying LTC, VTC & scam Fibonacci miners.
Took a hail mary and bought 16K Eth with what I had left. Sold it all for $1.80. Literally would have retired if I hadn't done that. Walked away from the market to focus on my life. Lost almost everything for a 2 yrs. Missed out on retirement by a hair.
Buddy made me get re-involved when Bitcoin was $2K & I turned it into $130K, cashed out 3/4 of it. Will probably go back in. No one else I know had the balls to cash out when I did.
Your experience will be helpful eventually. You just have to hang in there. It's going to suck. Took me a year to recover mentally from losing it the first time. And another year to recover from missing out on retirement.

2) Go up to 10th floor window. Tie rope to steel bar wedged across door opening. Rope should be long enough to stop at 9 floors. Also tie piano wire long enough to stop at 8 floors.

3) Tie rope around waist. Tie piano wire around neck. Duck tape hands to head.

4) Smash out window. Jump out of it. When you reach the 3nd floor, the piano wire tightens and decapitates you. When you hit the 2nd floor the rope tightens.

BTC is not private or fungible.

What use does a large corporate entity or institution have with a coin that can be analysed through chain analysis so that their competitors, foreign governments, or other bad actors can analyse all of their transactions data?

For people serious about Business Monero is the answer. Data mining will be a serious issue for commercial deployments.

Doubt it. Only because the default is inaction. Its way harder to come up with good arguments for living, that's why it usually sounds like soppy bullshit. You're just an edgy fag.

You were gambling with money you couldn't afford to lose. What did you expect? You can't get 50x's in crypto and be shocked when you lose a lot of it because you're too greedy to take some profits.

Traditional markets are the mother of all scam.
Worse than the ICO scams last year.

They are however completely legal and widely accepted.

Wait until the markets really start tumbling, the last few weeks was just a tasting of whats to come.

Stockmarkets are the rich mans scam.
It's ALL manipulated and backed by governments and banks.

Forgot to add the positive note:

I lost all my savings 2018 and all my crypto gains. I was down to minimum really.
Even in the fall when i managed to make a big amount of money back i got exit scammed on a stock market by a medium size corporation.

The moral of the story:

You wake up healthy and you don't really have any problems in life? Be happy for that.
Money comes and goes.
We are young, we will make it when the time is right. It's just fucking money and in our current economy it's literally just numbers on a screen or soon to be worthless paper you can wipe your ass with.

All in BTC and ETH and wait a few years.

Also this.
Most people here are posting on a computer or smart phone somewhere cozy and sheltered, even the guy living in his car last month had some food and shelter.

Most people are born into places where fresh water is 4 hours walk away. There are no toilets. Everyone is trying to survive and kill for food and well in general: A shit hole.

Be happy for what you have, you have more than most people. The fact you are brainwashed by society to never be satisfied and happy and always want more is a different story.

Leverage is a beast ain't it? Stoplosses are a meme anyways you can't trust those fucking things. If there's no liquidity you will get sold at the bottom anyway because that's where some rich fag decided to get in and buy up all the stops and rekt positions.

Forex usually moves in small amounts but most people trade with TA so it's one of the more "predictable" ways of trading, the gains are just smaller. So to make the moves worth anything people trade with insane leverage.
