I love how skyscam distributes block rewards
1.Email synth a pic of your raspi pi
2.He will email you some skycoins if he thinks it's pretty.
Such an elegant system, why did Satoshi ever bother with that POW crap??

Shhh, that's only to keep people from exploiting the testnet and you know it.

>> No.12315717

It's not a testnet. it's mainnet because the tokens have monetary value. No idea how, but they do, people are just gullible.
>keep from exploiting
Satoshi had the wrong idea. Emails to devs is where it's at.

We are beyond the stage of blockchain as a novelty. Integrating this technology with real world use cases and investment in physical infrastructure is the result of application. The emergence of a new industrial paradigm.

No because every other coin in test net doesn't have scams like this and has a transparent distribution.

You're thinking of a testnet for a coin. This is a testnet for a decentralized network that's incentivized for a coin.

>> No.12316794

Scams like what.
The distribution is pretty transparent. Coins are timelocked, then the team distributes them through ways that promote community growth and Skywire growth.

>> No.12316808

>>12316794
They are not time locked they aren't locked by anything and they have no reports on where the initial 10% has actually gone.

Absolute shit coin, quit scamming people acting like there is any proof for what you are saying.

there is this statement about distribution
https://www.skycoin.net/blog/statement/skycoin-distribution/
This could be seen as a facade over their real intent to make a coin for 10 years skim some capitol off the top. run it for another 2 years then skim some more. That would be the stupidest scam of the crypto bubble of 2018.
OR
They could actually be telling the truth and their intent is fully disclosed. in which case BUY BUY BUY!!!!!

>> No.12318313

>>12318274
There is no proof of these 10 years, I already exposed you fags for just changing documentation and changing comments, went repo by repo over three days.

The statement just says it's their "intent" and there isn't any proof. All of these scams are the same, fuck off.

>> No.12318585

>>12318256
Shame that 'node' would sync only with the dev node. A glorified server application.

>> No.12318634

>>12318313
There is no amount of proof a skytard will accept that it is a scam. You can point to the fact you have to ask permission for miner rewards, you can point to that busted ass chart, you can point to their "consensus algorithm" being withdrawn from publication, nothing makes any difference.

Nodes sync with peers they connect to. There is a list of 11 default peers that are always expected to be online. Other peers can come and go as they please. All you have to do is run the wallet and select the networking tab to see this.
