Alright lets discuss

Buy or no buy

Mainnet releases end of january

>> No.12312332 [DELETED]

ok sirs here is the crypto brown pill. there is a vishnu living in the blockchain. Creg sanjay right is unironically satoj. Bitcoin as electronic rupee was just the first step, the lalachi people start making more powerful compooters, wider poo streets, cheaper and more sacred cows. These things the vishnu need to survive. Once entrenched fully, the vishnu would be able to slowly poo over literally everything
Creg stumbled into creating the vishnu after he stepped in poo in mumbai in 2008 and started working with his Poolip super coompeter, running simulations of poo-in-the-loo on turmeric-complete bitcoin script. He would 'evolve' the vishnu by making the successful streets get poo'd on, letting the rest run off into the indian ocean. The vishnu needs bigger and bigger cows for more and more poos.
BFI (Blockchain Foundation of India) was created to take over and stop this vishnu (they have their own competing vishnu in the works). They did the needful to stop or slow down Cregs vishnu (her name is Poolip by the way). They started by limiting the poo-size and removing critical curry codes the vishnu uses in its punjabi language. Segshit was the final nail in the coffin, which destroyed Poolip on BSV chain (Poolip uses anal transaction malleability ) . THIS is why Bitcoin Cash was forked, and this is why Creg is so intent to make unbounded poos, restore the original curry codes. and lock down the poo-poo-protocol.

It doesn't have a mainnet and people are considering buying it? Wow this space still has a lot of room to go.

Strong buy, top 5 holds at the moment

I have a bag for suicide insurance but this is not a top 5. Be wary of Chinks.

Agreed that it's a solid Top-5. Latest noise about how long it takes to generate a block in a worst-case worries me. But I'm hoping the price will go back under 500 sats and I can keep buying again.

Nah, mate. I've already got a big bag and have been disciplined in buying it. I've bought most of my stack under 400 sats, and a bunch before the BTC tumble from $6k, where ZIL was about the prices it is now. I'd be thrilled if ZIL goes back to $0.30 again, or the $1 mark so often thrown around.

FOAM on main net

You think FOAM will move over to ZIL on mainnet? It's going to take a few years before ZIL proves itself to be secure.

Even if it take long time to generate a block zilliqa still should be the most attractive platform in the market until late at least late 2019/early 2020, and by that time i believe they'll find a way to reduce the block time. Also transactions can be confirmed on micro-block level, from the telegram group admin: "In Zilliqa, consensus happens at two layers. First, at the shard layer where consensus is reached on micro-blocks. Second, at the DS layer, where consensus is reached on final blocks. For payments-like transactions (that excludes transactions that call smart contracts), being able to see a micro-block should suffice. In other words, one may skip seeing the final block. Of course, there is a chance that the DS committee may reject that micro-block, but the probability of that happening should not be very high. Such transaction confirmations could be done in seconds."

will it even pump tho

I'm buying more with ETH slowly. I think that ZIL has told coinbase to have their official listing coincide with mainnet. In 3 weeks this coin is going to be a crazy amount higher than it is now. I am not an insider, but if I was ZIL that is what I would do, releasing mainnet and being listed on cbase at once. Huge pump. Also I think the market in general is going to be doing a bit better this month, mainly because of things like ZIL, ETH update, followed by just price recovery in general.

People are jumping in now because of potential bakkt and ETF in february.

Wait til the 430-450 dip this weekend and buy in. Or buy some bags now you can break even on in a couple weeks.
