Depends on what you're trying to trade. If you like small-medium cap speculative growth stuff like the dude weed, biopharma, etc, then yeah it behaves much the same as crypto. Monster blue chip companies are more stable unless the broader markets are losing their shit like right now. Usually when trading blue chips, active traders will use leverage or trade the stock with options rather than the common shares.

Yes, there's a whole other side to stocks where the strategy is as much about stability and maximizing dividend yield as it is about whether the share price moves up much while you're holding the position.

This is boring though. And it's where the 'stocks only give 10% returns per year' meme comes from. Now, you can make more than that even with a long hodl + dividend strategy but there is some truth to the meme. In my opinion, this strategy is best used by people with large amounts of capital who want growth with limited risk, or people who aren't willing to learn how to trade and just want a set and forget for a few years option.

dont worry about right/left. thats unironically what has allowed this to succeed. it operates like an extremely violent, politically unaligned populist movement, with all the intense momentum that comes along with such a thing (similar to trumps campaign where he was able to, as an (((outside))) candidate, get all kinds of different flavors of extremists to vote for him)

aligning the issues with right or left would leave them wide open to infiltration as well as media bastardization/well-poisoning. it also allows their numbers to be greatly fortified. and lets not forget that the protest is not against a political party, but the entirety of the french govt (and also less directly, EU parliament)

to put it simply, this want you have for it to be a movement full of people who think exactly like you is part of your burger programming. in lieu of such alignments, the frogs have built something thats entirely unique (structurally) from recent protests, and also proven to be so effective that since like 3 or 4 weeks ago, has prompted a total media blackout on ALL frequencies
