What gets me is that it tricks normies into wasting their life and money talking up buzzwords and "Fintech" all day. They sound like the most boring, creatively unfulfilled people on the planet. I like nerdy finance/trading/quant stuff too, don't get me wrong, but I actually learn stuff. These people spend what little free time they have hyping each other up about vaporware. Extremely depressing.
