Alright guys let’s figure something out. At what price would BTC need to be for you to go balls fucking deep with everything you got. Add $500 to that and there is your bottom. (Add $500 because people anticipate that point and buy in anticipation)

$1k? I’m pretty sure we would all go balls deep at that so it won’t go that low. $2k? Yeah that’s still low enough I’d go balls deep. $2.5k? Ehhh yeah still balls deep. 3k? Yeah sure but maybe I’ll let it drop to 2k - 2.5k. And that’s why it didn’t drop because 2.5k and below are balls deep price points.

I’m all for buying cheap BTC but it’s going to get scooped up.

Markets are all about emotion. How many faggots were saying 'I'd go balls deep in $500 ethereum' this time last year. and then got fucking justed. The bear won't be over anytime soon.

I'd look around the 23-26 range if you're buying for long term and see how that holds. I think the lowest possible price is around the top of the 2013 high. If it breaks that, the bear will be around for a very long time.

There won't be another crypto bull run till there's a catalyst like a currency collapse. Right now we're just searching for a floor to spend however many years it'll take for that catalyst to show itself.

I would have said 2600 is the bottom. Why? When BTC was at 1300 it was before all the hype and it was a pretty obsolete coin. No SegWit, no LN. So, at 2600, I would have gone all in. Add 500 to that, and we are at 3100. Well, I missed that and got FOMO. So I went in at 4k. I think we'll see 5k and 6k very soon. Look at the inverse SHS developing...

>>12279705
yep, 3100 was definitely the bottom...think about it...all this talk of 1000 and so on is totally delusional. It's a different age now, and the industry and attention is 10x now from the good old times where 1000 a high price for BTC.

So why do you think that is the bottom whereas before people were calling 6k the bottom? Because it’s cheaper to buy @ 3k versus 6k?

look at monthly chart, BTC bounced of bottom of the monthly keltner channel, decent volume, 3500 was the apocalyptic bottom everyone said would never happen. Sub 2k may still happen, but my uncle, who I consider a signal, and who said BTC was going to 100k in 2017 after it hit 20k, said last week that he'd buy at 1k, which makes me feel the bottom really is in this time.

The robot whales hit a wall going down so they altered course to go up instead. They just move to wherever they can. We will hang around at <10k going up and down for years.

I thought 6k had a chance to hold, but it never seemed like 'the bottom' to me. I actually sold all my BTC at 6100, because I felt I couldn't accept any further losses.
What was wrong with 6k? The problem was the shape of that triangle. It wasn't symmetric, there was that horizontal line at the bottom. Also, a triangle is a continuation pattern. And at 3100, you can say, yes, the fundamentals justify a bottom. At 6k, it was not such a sure thing.

I think TA and your uncle are both pretty useful. ATM, this is totally TA driven and people forget there there are indeed use cases for BTC. The value is not arbitrary. E.g., it's increasingly used for remittances, and also the digital gold thing works. It's already highly correlated to gold and the VIX. So, you have to look at the charts in context. And the context is, BTC is already quiet cheap, prpbably too cheap now. If BTC did die now, you'd go to reintroduce it right away. That's not something you'd do with a worthless thing.

it was never supposed to go this low with so much attention. I gave up it cannot go lower than $0

>> No.12280407

>>12280026
yes, it was never supposed to go that low. But you forget short sellers - it's become a meme to short BTC, that's why we are so low. That's just a habit, and it depresses price. But that will unwind.

Listen...

Crypto is a psychological trap. The scammers parroted the phrase “skin in the game” to get you to put money in, and like the dumbest rat in the world, you bait the trap with your own money and walk right in.

Once the trap is set, it’s 24 hours of torture. Initially the price jumps up, but you don’t sell. WHAT IF IT GOES UP MORE. People say wait for 50k, 100k. The scammers cash out real money (YOUR MONEY) and those who rake in big money leave the system rich.

Large amounts of money leave, and the price starts a long, slow dive. And now you are trapped.

SELL AT A LOSS? Sorry, loss aversion kicks in. And that would be admitting you were dumb. Surely all those smart people can’t be mistaken. This is the future of money! And if it moons again you’ll feel like shit. Let’s just hodl.

BUY MORE? Sure why not. After all it MUST go up eventually. You start putting money in. A little at first. Then more. Then you’re out of money and the value is still sliding.

The human brain is wonderful. It protects you from going mad from the horrors of reality. So your brain, to convince you not to go crazy, makes you believe this: “just hodl anon, it’ll go up FOR SURE. Dont worry at the no coiners laughing at us, it’s our turn next time. BELIEVE IT.”

Listen...

Crypto is a fucking psychological trap. And you put the bait yourself.

^^ that's the short sellers I'm talking about. Don't give them a chance, never sell your BTC at a loss. HODL. Bitcoin is great, and there are not so many Bitcoins. Be sure to own some of them!

>> No.12280461

The bottom will look a lot like this:
1. Price goes down slowly over time, barting up and down for months
2. Punters on bitmex gradually get smaller as degenerate gamblers run out of capital
3. The price barts get weaker and suddenly a bart down is no longer barted up
4. Hodlers scramble to buy cheap coins with what money they have, boosting the price +10% or more
5. A major exchange goes down for maintenance and doesnt come back up
6. Price contines to slide, then plummets as the first panic runs for the exits
7. A second exchange goes dark and the selling accelerates. Those who bough at a bargain starts to doubt themselves
8. A crypto-apocalypse begins: the last few holdouts wait for a bullrun that never comes

oh lord, you fell for their BS and Craig wright. You must be younger than 22 to fall for that

BSV does not scale. The only way the network can support such enormous block sizes is by centralizing the cost, which defeats the purpose entirely. If you want centralized money use Visa.
