As we enter 2019, think about the job you’re currently working and the job that you dream of.
Personally I’m interested in entering the IT/Cybersec field and I was curious about the best entry level certifications one should invest time in pursuing. That being said, what are some skills/certifications that I should look into and add to my resume by the time my schools (Uni student) career fair comes around? This is in hopes of one day owning a IT or Cybersec consulting firm.

That being said, what are some of /biz’s Career goals for 2019. Let’s all look forward to making it in 2019 and beyond.
Here is the first official career builder general.
>post goals, skills, trades in any field that can be used to bolster a resume
>pic related, something to live by in 2019

Ask me how I know you won’t make it.

Well since /biz/ is mostly a bunch of know-it-alls that actually don't know anything, I'll contribute.
Right now I'm in part time retail about to start my path towards a business degree through community college, then transfer to state in hopefully 2 or 3 semesters.
I also want to teach myself programming and 3d visual software.
I know a considerable amount of construction.
My goal is to one day be able to market my skillsets and be my own boss or make at least 120k doing something in real estate or IT.

Nice man, I wish you best of luck on your endeavors. Since you’re most likely going to pursue a business degree, might I suggest looking into MIS. You learn plenty of things business related alongside some really good technically programming concepts like SQL etc. and business intelligence software like powerBI, tableau.
