I go out to eat every workday at expensive restaurants. I rationalize it with the fact that I have a paid lunch break and make more money during that time then I spend but I still feel wasteful.

I also spend $60-80 a week on quality whiskey. I've become a regular at my local liquor store, they don't even card me anymore and sometimes call me by my first name.

What really is there to it, people spend excess cash to things they don't need or doesn't get used second time after purchase.
Do you really need new laptop every two years? new phone every year? new gpu every year? library of 200 games on steam?
Most books will tell you that once your earnings increase spending will too and that's the case for 99% of people.
People don;t want to save and invest, they want new iphone because they chase new fashions...

Assuming you can't brew your own spirits due to being illegal or unsafe (indoors), brewing your own wine is trivially easy and cheap and only takes a couple weeks. Wine is probably the healthiest alcohol to binge on too.

I’ll spend about 500 a month on gambling. I’ve recent cut back to 300 a month but sometimes I quadruple that investment, or I like triple it on bad months. So I’m the end I think I average out but still it’s all so fun and I love it I wouldn’t want to trade it for any other activity in the world. Just the pure anticipation and adrenaline from winning is the best high I’ve ever had (used lsd, cocaine, opioids, weed, ecstasy). Nothing comes close.

last time I pulled out entire trays of boneless organic blah blah blah chiken that cost $6 a pound. scored 4, 3 pound containers.
also scored a bunch of bottles of organic combucha that cost $4 a bottle, 4 dozen eggs that cost 4-5$ a dozen, and two days ago nabbed over 10lbs of ripe orgnic avocados, and those are just the highlights there's all kinds of amazing shit and I get it all free and have never even had a stomach ache because I know what I'm doing
