Is living at home and saving all of your income the way to FIRE?

In a few years I'm going to buy some property from the money I've saved up and rent it out before buying my own little apartment to live in.

I'll keep working, pay off most of both mortgages and buy a third house, rent it out and cut down my hours to work like 2 days a week.
