Yeah personal experience anon here.

Used to do youtube way back. Shitty videos etc. Got 5k views each vid. Then took a hiatus and started making quality vids. Spent a heck load of time but same target group etc. 50 views per video. Tried every trick in the book, copying search terms of other high profile youtubers in the same target etc. Still no luck. Made like 50 videos. Highest views achieved was 150 and by spamming on social media.

Yes yes yes shit content creator blabl but the irony what i felt was that it seems there are certain algos on youtube that feels like the audience is rather directed not free. I made like clusterfuck shitty content and got views before. Obviously dropped the youtube gig etc. The best way to make money on the social webs is to be controversial and go with the politics hypeflow or scamming.

They eliminated this feature.
Maybe that might have something to do with the view count.
