$1,000 is a paltry sum anon and a safe investment is not going to give any significant return. You should either spend it or look for a high risk reward investment. If I was you I’d buy some short dated puts on some tech stocks. Specifically SQ/AMD. Or if you believe Bitcoin will continue to rally short term buy short dated calls on Overstock, basically acts as a crypto ETF.

Only thing that gives me pause is their balance sheet, they don’t have any toxic debt and have a good amount of cash. They do have a tremendous inventory though and if Amazon and other online retail continues to eat their lunch that could hurt them tremendously. Need to run the numbers and see how their assets translate into share price. 5$ is very low, the 8’s are still reasonably priced.
