By 2030 all stocks will be traded on the ethereum blockchain. There will be no NASDAQ or DOW, just 24/7 trading tokens on the blockchain.

You can guess what ETH will be worth at this point.

Wrong. It's a tulip factory.

Yeah, until there is found another vulnerability exploited in solidity smart contracts that allow to issue for example AMZN shares out of thin air, and the whole economy goes the shitter.

Right for the wrong reasons--tulips had speculative value because the Dutch made money buying and selling tulips. As is true with ETH.

It will be until something else becomes more used.

That could handle the entire global stock-market? Yeah, maybe Ethereum if they can get sharding down.

Holochain or NEM I suppose could also theoretically manage.

Dai is a good token and it gives ETH some value. Other than that ETH has no dapps unlike EOS having Novusphere and EOSKnights ect. Some day ETH may be able to compete but EOS is obviously going to flip it in 2019.

I'm curious OP, why did you create this thread specifically about ETH? There are tons of worse currencies. ETH actually seems like one of the least overvalued.

Tulips were the only speculative vehicle for Dutch persons legally available.

Proof of Tulip, rare viral mutations, are just as good as PoW.
