/biz/ - I see a lot of us are in the same situation, 18-35, trapped in a dead end wageslave job being overworked for shit pay by boomer bosses.

Are you just going to sit and take it? To defeat your enemy you must first truly understand them.

Why are you getting carrot on the stick treatment?
Why do they think unpaid overtime and sacrificing your personal life for the company is acceptable?
Why do they want you to bluepill yourself into swallowing some bullshit "company mission statement and values"?

Because my friends, they all, and I mean all, read the same meme-tier management books from the bestseller section in Amazon. You can easily pirate most of these and as soon as you open it up you will identify the bullshit principles and schemes that have been regurgitated in your company by the CEO which he read on his 8th vacation that year.

We should make a collection of boomer books, memes and principles to first understand them, then utilise them for our own benefit and eventually wrest control from the boomer and sabotage their empire.

Pic related is my first example.

Not seeing the connection here OP. Without making me read a 200 page book first, explain what that book has to do with boomer bosses and the way they operate and how this book affects us wagies.

that book is a joke, it was created to be sold to idiots like you, the writer is rich thanks to the book, nothing else. you aren't going to be rich, you will be a wagie wagie for the rest of your life, accept it.

if you are overworked and receiving shit pay that means you are expendable

I make $100/hour doing private tutoring, not really a prestigious job, but its much better to just do a few hours a day to make my living

That's not entirely correct, he also sold grey market nootropic supplements when they were first becoming popular. It is true that his 4 hour workweek bullshit would absolutely not work unless you already had a winner business plan like he did

I do one hour of real work a day and swing trade and shitpost on 4chan the rest of the time. I think I’m okay.

Right, he makes his money by selling a book that promises you riches. People want early retirement without having to actually work for it. You're not going to get rich by reading a book some schmuck wrote.

I'm not jealous of Tim Ferris, but I think his whole act is despicable and cheesy.

As an alternative I would recommend Unscripted, that shit was actually written by a guy who actually got rich off of the shit he recommends before he ever wrote any books.
Debunks the notion that you have to have a "winner business plan" or that you're doomed to be a wagie.

Everybody from street sweepers, to top 1% software engineers, to neurosurgeons is expendable. The question is - just how hard is it to replace you, and how much you can get away with (raises, work performance, various leeways) before you get canned. Staying within these ratios is how you make a decent living
