There you go. Investments.. I'd recommend low cost index funds (VTSAX/FZROX, etc), some bonds, etc. maybe an 80/20 split depending on your risk tolerance levels.

People say the market is overdue for a correction and maybe they're right. Keep enough liquid to weather out any short term storms (2-3 years) and invest the rest. If the global economy tanks and never recovers we're all fucked anyway.

ok so say i go 75/25 stocks/bonds. what stock and bond funds should i go with?

i'm guessing i don't want to go above intermediate duration?
and which stock funds should i go with? i know that for whatever reason bogle doesn't like international equities but imo china is the future and is going to replace the USA in 30 years and the world's dominant superpower.

High-growth funds, since both you and your spouse are already pretty well-off and are rounding 30. If you have the extra time and are interested in individual stock picks, consider researching nvax and pti.

Find a fiduciary like Jazz Wealth and let them do it for you.

keep any funds you go into broad based, again VTSAX/FZROX for stocks is fine.. bonds orobably something like VBMFX.

there’s an argument to be made that the top companies in the US market are indirectly international since they’re so huge (Apple, FB, Microsoft, etc). i personally dont invest in any international funds.
