Im currently doing out of town trades work. I live in hotels and take part in building cool shit in remote locations. Im making sick dosh (like 100k+/year), but not being at home for more than a week at a time sucks. I plan to just save money (unlike all the people I work with who just drink and gamble it away) and use it to get out. The "hard work" thing is kind of a meme because you end up not having a life, but its definitely possible to raise starting capital quickly with it.

Doing stuff no one else wants to during working hours is fine, but the ‘come early, stay late’ visibility thing is peak boomer. Anyone who has ever worked in a non-menial job will immediately see there is a natural distribution of talent and competency among people based roughly on intelligence. The problem with being preoccupied with work is that it causes society to collapse. The nazis were obsessed with work ("work will set you free") and their legacy was bombed out buildings that took decades to recover from. Yes they built the autobahn, but mostly they destroyed more than they built. The reason for this is you can't push honest and decent people too far. They will eventually become resentful and do a bad job. Sometimes the sabotage is even unconscious, but it's predictable that over-work will lead to bad work over time.

In contrast, look at some of our best inventions. They were created when no one was thinking about work. Bell laboratories made some of our most important technology last century and the reason they were so good is because people were being paid good wages to do research, to make a better future for their company and society as a whole. Lazy hippies basically started most computer companies too.

The point is that people will do good work when they feel safe and do shitty work when they feel precarious, and you'll get people like Mike Rowe preying on this insecurity starting arguments about work. The moment this happens shit gets worse, it's undeniable.

"Work ethic" is a Darwinian concept and an excuse for goyim to impose slavery on their peers. "Work ethic" is not simply a choice, as is commonly implied. It's more an aggregate result of many factors, such as motivation, mental health, emotional health, willingness to submit, etc. The goyim who are self-aware can see modern labor as the current form of slavery and indentured servitude. The goyim who can't, and the goyim who can't care perpetuate the "work ethic" concept to delegitimize the complaints of their fellow goyim. It's perfectly acceptable in all forms of media to allow someone to starve and die if they won't submit, since they are seen as lacking this so called "work ethic." Of course the definition of the work has been twisted over the decades to essentially be a label for those who won't participate in the current conditions. Seeing as laborers are systematically and deliberately devalued by every institution, those rebelling would ideally not be acceptable to die. Of course none of this applies to non-whites, as they lack the drive and intelligence to prosper regardless of their circumstance.
