12135542 No.12135542 [Reply] [Original]

Bitcoin market capitalization is 57 billion $. Few months ago binance was expecting to net 1 billion $ in profits at the end of the year. And there is a lot more of bigger and smaller companies built around bitcoin. The whole ecosystem is worth much much more than those 57 billion $. Bitmain is worth 15B $ (as much as the biggest gold mining company in the world).

Some people keep saying that bitcoin is going down below 1000$. This is insane. That would mean market capitalization below 20B$. Few of the biggest companies could probably accumulate big chunk of the total supply, pump it and earn even more from trading fees or to just keep their mining business going.

I would like to see an indicator how much money do the bitcoin-related companies make in comparison to the bitcoin market capitalization. My point is that bitcoin has become too big to fall and when we hit certain price some of those companies will use their money to accumulate. Don't you think that the situation when ONE company profiting off of a commodity is worth more than that commodity itself is ridiculous?

"Money is either physical, like banknotes, or digital, like the money in your bank account. Quantitative easing involves us creating digital money. We then use it to buy things like government debt in the form of bonds. You may also hear it called ‘QE’ or ‘asset purchases’ – these are the same thing.

The aim of QE is simple: by creating this ‘new’ money, we aim to boost spending and investment in the economy."
