Serious question to /biz/raelis holding BTC: How do you know BTC won't be attacked the same way BCH was the moment it'll have to hardfork? Suddenly "Blockstream's Vision" will pop out of nowhere and will throw hundreds of millions to force the old chain and thus taking away the ticker symbol from Core.

Because blockstream controls the discussion about btcore/bch and for a fork like that to appear blockstream would have to die first

Why didn't Core hardfork if they're so confident they won't and if they admit it'll have to hardfork one day? Until they prove they can HF I say they're full of shit and work with BSV.

... It already has been, that's what actually happened. Blockstream's vision was forcibly implemented and very few even noticed and even more are unaware it was ever any different

BTC is operated purely by the six person political council of the core devs. So why. Would it happen *again*? They've got what they want, and bch is still standing, so all future attacks will be against it, as they can't let it keep standing and proving them incompetent fools.

The trips are always right. BTC is the most boomer coin ever.

Now I'm waiting for the Corecucks to parrot in chorus "no one controls our digital gold! we can hardfork any time we want!" as if someone could suddenly come out of nowhere and make the call against Core's rule.

Bitcoin user here. The point is to develop the coin in such a ways that hard-fork isn't needed.

Can't simply change the rules arbitrarily, we have to stay in consensus at all costs.

But you have no way to develop it in a way that it won't be needed.
>Can't simply change the rules arbitrarily, we have to stay in consensus at all costs.
Then you'll stay in Core 0.1v.

Jesus fucking Christ. There are at least 3 places where SN wrote it's a work in progress that will take many versions with great changes.

>great changes

name one great change that is worth splitting the network for. you can't

furthermore the Bitcoin Core wallet has tons of changes that don't affect the consensus. We have segwit, hash time locked contracts, faster networking

Time for this piece of shit to die. The tech that starts a revolution is never there at the end of it. But sure bitcoin will bounce back just like every other time.

Like having any of dozens of new features?
7tps is totally cutting edge!!!!
You must think BCH will done and that will be good, but wait and see what happens once BTC can't hardfork and keep up with the rest of the market.
