The article is saying that xrp and other tech disruptions have forced swift to modernize. And the ceo is stepping down. The initiative was started 3 years ago, and they're changing CEOs next year. Hopefully both CEOs have link in their future plans.

Exactly. People need to look at that picture and understand that XRP and Chainlink will work together in many cases. LINK is still need for settlement even if it is settled in XRP. Also, LINK is still need for financial aggreements, smartcontracts.
