Just lost my job, that being said I'm done working for someone else.
This comes with a question for /biz/, what are good opportunities for making money online?
I actually got a few ideas in mind like blogging or Amazon FBA, but a nice thread about the topic would be nice
I've been thinking about it for a very long time, I'm kinda jelly on these 18yo normies driving lambos and stuff, I just want to be able to make 1000 dollars monthly from the comfort of my home, I dont want to be rich.

Before starting working from home seriously check your local tax authority about paying taxes when you are not employed. In my countty you have to pay your social and medical insurance, even if you don't make any profit (but you are insured if officialy unemployed). When I was in uni I picked up freelancing on upwork.com and freelancer.com and that went quite well for a while. You have to deal with the pressure if you don't have enough clients to make it through the month, so you need to have your spendings in order (don't overspend in good periods so you would'nt starve on bad)

Thats exactly what I'm looking for, any idea on specific things I should be looking for(?), I'm good at writing tho, writing articles about games would be nice, it will give me the joy of working.

I dont think that writing about games is sustainable long term. Could work as a side project tho. Issue is that if you want to write about what is interesting for you, you basically need to write a blog and get payd through ad revenue. For max revenue, your posts needs to be unique (in this case new games, as old ones have milion and one blog posts about them). And you won't see big revenue until your site becomes mainstreem. It's best in the begining not to box yourself and explore more opportunities. For now i suggest you register of sited i posted before (it's free) and search for writing gigs. If there's no market for your current skills, pickup a programming or design book and start doing small jobs in that area. After a while you will get some rep and can start doing more serious projects. I started doing homework for people (20-100 usd per job) and worked up my skills. You could find yourself in this stage for 3-12 months. After that when your skills mature, you can start picking up bigger projects that last month or more and be set for that time
