>do ICO
>ask for 32 million dollars in ETH (during bull run) for 35% of the supply
>that ETH moons and reaches 100 million dollars
>keep 35% of the supply for self (literally the same amount of the entire fucking circulating supply)
>lets permissioned (private) tokenless blockchains basically use their network for free
>you're tokens are now basically worthless
>thanks for the 100 million dollars, no refunds

lol no

Individual oracles sure. There was always the possibility to use those for free, but not the Chainlink mainnet.

which is literally all they need to not have to use the public network. they need only 1 node that they know and trust. the traditional data providers will run that node, so they will take responsibility the same way they would if they gave wrong data in any off chain agreement.

chainlink should let them test for a limited time in private blockchains and then stop letting them use it to force them to move to public blockchains. but they wont do it because they literally dont give a fuck about the token. sergey is already a multi millionaire, the shit token was just an excuse for people to give him 32 million dollars so he could develop the tech. (the acquisition of town crier and shit. it was made with YOUR money)

Not exactly.

Pic related for instance takes a lot more than one node.

this has to be bait right?
when i said 1 node i meant 1 node for each data they want to fetch.
since the people running the node are trustworthy, you no longer need 1000 people fetching for a single type of data and then aggregate the result to give out 1 input. you only need 1. there will be 1 oracle for reach input that the contract requires and those oracles will be ran by the data providers themselves

Do you have a problem with investments that help corner the market or something?
Imagine being this dumb.

yes, i have a problem when the value of the thing that i bought does not correlate with the value of the fucking project.
any linktard here can no longer say "they will use ripple, not XRP" because sergey is doing the exact same shit to us. THEY WILL USE THE TECH. THE TECH WILL HAVE SUCCESS. IT WILL NOT, HOWEVER, CORRELATE IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM TO THE FUCKING SHIT TOKEN THAT THEY SOLD US, SPECIALLY WHEN THEY USE THE TECH AS A WHITE LABEL. NO ONE WILL EVER EVEN FUCKING KNOW ITS FUCKING CALLED CHAINLINK

Here's ETH's Joseph Poon talking about how a large portion of cryptos require something called peer-to-peer oracles.

Not for private chains.
But private chain users still offer massive marketing/exposure.
Plus private chains are ultimately doomed anyway: https://www.coindesk.com/ibm-blockchain-maersk-shipping-struggling/
Turns out they don't trust each other lol.

Plus plus, peer-to-peer smart contracts ultimately displace the very parties that insist on using these private chains (banks etc.)

The real potential is in the peer-to-peer oracles. And they cannot exist without guaranteed and immediate guarantees and compensation.

And the idea that the data providers will run the nodes is simply hilarious. What are they gonna do, send data to literally everyone constantly and all the time in case they need it? Look up the very basics about what oracles are, at least.

>Not for private chains.
Not 'always' for private chains.

Regular mainnet Chainlink nodes can and will still provide data to private chains with zero problem.
