The USD is not based on a commodity. Gold is the physical equivalent of cryptos (with the exception it cant have limitless derivatives, is universally recognised as valuabe, is not reliant to technology, and easily fungible)

schiff is wrong about a lot of things and he shouldnt try to make prophecies but he's done a good job educating people on austrian economics and how fucked up the dollar and fed is

but his predictions and weird dogmatic stance on gold and crypto discredits him and this causes people to think the dollar is good to
