Unironically good advice. Op you should buy link while it is cheap and hold it for a couple of years. Any amount you can afford to lose. If we're wrong you lost something you could afford to, if we're right you won the lottery.

Also look at the memes for each crypto you see mentioned a lot here and their amount/quality. People don't make a bunch of memes about something they aren't interested in.
Also read the white papers.
I'd recommend link, xmr, eth and btc for long-term holds.
