Using Bitcoin as a cash to buy a cup of coffee misses the whole point of BTC. The point of it is to be a reserve money like gold, and layers can be added on top of it to make transactions, similar to the gold standard. Once LN gets widespread adoption, buying a cup of coffee then becomes easy and feeless.
