ethereum is not a security according to sec common knowledge, i doubt that is ever going to change.

watch out though chainlink bagholders, you better hope they cashed out enough ether to repay "investors" in full, because the higher they climb on coinmarketcap the bigger the target they get, and at some point they will have to refund if they ever expect to get any usage of their product outside of gamblers on binance
