Do you have any good ideas for software businesses? Something that can realistically make $200k the first year. Just brainstorm. I'll paypal you $5 if you come up with something I like, dead serious.

I've been programming since I was 14; I can do almost anything. I have contributed to a lot of open source software but haven't made much money from programming. My degree was in chemistry and I make shit money.

Run an online service, where the users' input is photographs or video of a subject, and your service's output is a reasonably accurate 3D model of the subject.
I know that it's possible, because I've seen a website where they do that. I forget its name, though.

It's not exactly like printing money, but with good advertising, anything is possible.

Just think of a game people like to play. I used to play a lot of flash games when I was young so I have a lot of inspiration there. Think repetitive but challenging, simple but intuitive

In all honesty, the overhead of managing the startup to get $200k a year is quite big.

Well I guess the idea is to get a proof of concept in order to lure in other people's money. I have some savings but wouldn't want to use more than $20k.

You demand money from the user at some point before sending the output to the user. If the user does not comply, the output is not sent to the user.
I thought it was fucking obvious, mate.

No one will pay for that though.

I was thinking more along the line of businesses buying it. I guess Hollywood might use it to make shitty animated films.

Do you live under a rock or something? 3D scanning is a very necessary technology for many applications. If nothing else, 3D printing enthusiasts will need to use it in order to produce copies of physical objects whose 3D models don't yet exist.

Make a fucking meth lab simulator dude. The demographic looks promising. I mean there's lots of Breaking Bad fans, and lots of people on steam loves them "simulator" games.

Still I won't bet on this as a solid 200k bucks per year idea. I mean there's tons of them simulator games out there which are garbage. And to make it, you need either volunteers or employees or some sort of a team. I mean, making them by yourself is almost insane. Unless you're an uber-programmer which can stay awake for 3 days straight with no coffee or sleep.

Otherwise invent a better program for creating websites for non-programmers. Somrthing that completely breaks the mold and is very appealling to people instead of autistic chink chonks.

I'd love a forum+imageboard mixture where I can easily switch between layout to layout.

I'd also love a roll20d integration for 4chan which let's me play DnD directly on /tg/. Perhaps a Flash add-on or something much more advanced and mold-breaking.

It would be great if you created an online program for sites which lets you create an infinite number of pop up boxes and images like the quick reply box. But with links within links going to other sections of the website without refreshing the page.

I'd also love a gallery mode for all the pictures I wanted to view without clicking on each of them.

Otherwise go full translator and try to translate english to japanese and vice versa perfectly, but that requires an army to write every single nuance, slang, comma, grammar, writing style.
