Miners are throwing their ASICs away like rotten fruits due to the fact that mining isn’t profitable anymore. Equipment for mining is too expensive and Crypto prices are dropping everyday because of this strong bear market. But there’s one thing that is less expensive : GPU Mining. It is 80% cheaper than ASIC mining. Well guess which fork of BTC can be mined only by GPU ? Bitcoin Gold (BTG).

BTG being ASIC-resistant, there is no chances for it to be rekt'd by these attacks. Therefore, Bitcoin Gold becomes the one and only legitimate hard fork after all of the drama created around the BCH ABC / SV forks. (Why so much longs opened on BTGUSD just after the apparition of rumors about Bitcoin Cash Hard Fork ?)

Bitcoin Gold must have a role to play considering all of that.

GPU mining is a meme once it becomes profitable to design an ASIC one is designed
the other alternative is to constantly change the mining algo but that just centralizes the chain more
