I'm friends with Trey. One of the last episodes of this season will feature a crytpocurrency plot. Can't go into too much detail because I promised not to say anything. But I'll give you a sneak peak. The boys invest their allowance money into cyrpto and end up making their own coin, but Cartman gets mad at Kyle and forks the project because of his "dirty Jewish bankster" tricks. This causes a cascading collapse of their coins value, and leaves them broke by the end of the episode. Only Butters comes out ahead because he chose to put his money in FANG stocks which the boys mocked as being "too traditional." Oh, and the part where Kyle says, "At least I've still got my Jew gold" sends Eric into a rage, and then it goes to credits.

Cartman launches an absurd ICO and uses its funds to live on a tropical island while lying to investors about doing work.
Investors are simple people that think they are going to be millionaires, they mortgage their houses to buy the tokens.
Kyle is angry about it and uncovers Cartman's shenanigans. Price drops 99%.
Angry investors attack Cartman and force him to give the money back under the gunpoint.
At the end, investors put the rescued funds into yet another ICO ran by another scammer, having learned nothing.

this actually seems like a good classic SP plotline, how about as an addendum:
>Cartman creates TokenToken, a crypto for black people
>All the SJW's jump in to virtue signal pumping the coin massively, everyone FOMO's in

Who asks if a half-hour comedy show is "relevant"? >>11924787 is spot-on.

>>11926755
Token is such an awesome name for a character in the show. Took me a while before I realized too, might be because English isn't my native tongue.
