Sometimes, but you have to get out fast.

The argument can be made that if you have abnormal volume in a call or put, that someone with serious money (or a bunch of people with not so serious money) are betting that there is going to be a move. And that itself will sometimes drive the price.

I don't trade based on volume, but sometimes if I see one of the Najarian brothers talking on CNBC about unusual activity I will bite.

But again... better to be out a minute too soon than a minute too late. So if one of them says, for example.... "I'm buying the $40 calls, and I'll stay in for 2 weeks", I make a point (if I bite), of getting out in 1 week.

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." I tried to read it, but I had to put it down after a handful of chapters.

Now that he's President, we all have a feel for the way he talks; everything he does is great, all of his deals were the biggest deals; his mind wandering from topic to topic.

The book is a same way. In fact, if you read it while thinking in Trumps voice, it sounds the same as listening to him in front of the TV cameras these days or reading his tweets.

the best thing to learn from trump is basically "never admit you are wrong, always say you have won even if you have lost terribly"
