So no coin will be fully adopted without a fail safe for accidents and theft. If you can accidentally send a billion dollars to the wrong address or if a criminal can hold you at gunpoint until you transfer your money and they wash it through miners etc. it will not be fully adopted.

Is there any coin that solves these problems?

Monero* not miners

There may be a way to solve the accidental address problem, maybe have a 15 minute grace period to take a transaction back, maybe have a system where users can vote if a transaction was accidental, idk, but you will never solve the coercion problem. How is a coin supposed to know someone is threatening you? It is impossible to solve. Animals have threatened each other for resources for billions of years, you will never create a coin that stops a threatened transaction.

That's one of the best things about it. Rich idiots losing their ridiculous wealth by being careless dumbasses.

building centralized systems on top of bitcoin is a possibility (bakkt, liquid, etc.) but will never be ok at the base layer
no one should have the power over your financial sovereignty unless you chose to give it up for convenience
these centralized systems built on top will have to compete with each other and should keep them honest

EOS solves all of these "problems"

Or you can do what ethereum did with the Doa hack and roll back the blockchain with a hard fork.

you can't have sound money when a central party can choose somethings an accident or theft

rollbacks on a blockchain defeat the entire purpose of the whole thing

I know the core devs are aware of this issue and have heard Andreas Antonopoulos talk about it too. However it’s important to remember that bitcoin is literally described as “digital cash.” If you accidentally lose cash there is no way to claim it back. Same goes for being robbed. You just lose it. Hopefully since this is programmable money there will be options to at least mitigate this problem in the future

You just dont do it, if a guy is pointing at you head, you just dont do it.

Cardano and maybe Holochain? I'm honestly curious about how this could be solved without going against the idea this shit is founded on. Can't just roll back the ledger everytime someone's funds get stolen
