what will a global recession like 2008-2012 do to crypto? All indicators point to economy on verge of collapse and recession. I fear this is going to end very very ugly.

during recessions, people pull out of riskier investments and convert it to the perceived safety of cash and precious metals. There's nothing riskier than crypto. A global recession would sent BTC to the triple digits or lower.

Anyone who thinks that a recession would somehow be good for crypto doesnt understand how markets work or how people react to global downturns

well btc went up cuz asian mainly, muh korea war muh china regulations, there is no more world fud no more wars, only a recesion could start this.
