Let's have a nice comfy fren thread discussing or current positions in life and our future goals.
I've just turned 21 and my goal is to start a property development business. My foundation step towards my goal is my initial investment of 150 ounces of gold and my study of economics (both in university and indepenantly). My girlfriends dad has offered me a job with his friend to be a labourer in high end home construction work and I already have some experience, all be it minor, in working on houses and maintenance. This will give me good experience in the fundamentals of property whilst I wait for an appropriate time to enter the market.
My question to biz is if anyone can suggest any resources, be it books, websites, videos etc that would educate me on property development, particularly from the business managment and stratergy point of view, as I feel I will be well versed in the physical and speculative areas of the trade already.
