Hey /biz/, can you please tell me when this ethereum thing is going back up again?

I put most of my live savings into it and bought 2000 at 0.035 bitcoin but now its worth just half!

When is back to normal? Please, help. I need to feed my family.

It may sound strange but almost your only chance now is to buy even more and hope it doubles again.

It's that or giving up on the money.

its difficult to predict when the price will go up or down..

but i have faith on eth, personally bought 1k eth at around $11.4, and i didnt panic sell them when the price started dropping, so i will hold them till the price rises up to $11.8+

only matter is how long will it take for the price to bounce back, but its inevitable that it will indeed rise so i am not worried much..

OP 3 questions
Why would you buy in so late?
Why didn't you dump when homestead was released (there was even a thread about it)?
What did you think was going to happen?

This thing isn't even officially deployed yet. It's only phrase 2 and everything else is in beta. Yet the price is already 8 -11. Imagine when Ethereum is wildly adopted.

so buying eth is like some retarded amateur futures contract thing now?

Why haven't you bought TRUMP yet? ETH already peaked.

Buying ETH is like buying tulip bulbs. Eventually when everyone realizes there is no way it will be the next Bitcoin, it will find its intrinsic value. Probably settling around 1-3 US dollars.

From a technical standpoint etherum is not much better than a normal crypto currency. Their smart contracts sound great in theory but are actually a joke. In practice the processing power of the network for smart contracts is always constant, the etherum VM is dog slow (processing power equivalent of a NDS despite thousands of nodes) and running a smart contract is expensive.

It will never take off unless they address these issues but I wouldn't bet on it.
