I'll let you in on what your turbocancer coin has in store for all you fine autists.

There has been a HUGE partnership with IBM. As you can see here (https://ibm-pool.iex.ec/d/Home/ibm-worker-pool)) IBM has sponsored one (in numbers: 1) 8-core 4GHz computer with 16GB of RAM.

That's insane investment and trust shown by IBM. Just check how much a machine like that costs. https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Inspiron-3668-Desktop-i7-7700/dp/B079H6BPJZ/ref=sr_1_6?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1542849201&sr=1-6&refinements=p_n_feature_four_browse-bin%3A2289792011

You see right. That's $785. Seven hundred and eighty five dollars.

You better get onto this rocket before this INSANE cloud computing partnership sweeps amazon's shitty AWS right off its feet.

They are used to buy&sell computing power on the iexec market and are required as staking deposits for computation providers.

https://medium.com/iex-ec/poco-series-2-on-the-use-of-staking-to-prevent-attacks-2a5c700558bd

So staking with RLC will essentially make it unprofitable for bad actors to try and make a profit by attacking the network. Simply buying with ether or some other currency would allow anyone the ability to act as a worker and take profits without legitimate work. This makes a lot of sense and gives me more faith in the need of the actual RLC token.

There ya go fudfag. Now leave.

Ok so the central selling point of this shitcoin is the intel SGX "partnership". SGX is an enclave solution that makes the jobs run on a machine transparent to the owner - e.g. you run a job on my machine and I cannot determine what you are doing.

But then I need to stake some shitty token to make sure that I have no economic interest in producing... fake output?

>decentralized cloud computing works the same as traditional cloud computing

>>11847218
>still thinks decen. computing works the same as traditional
Retard fudder spotted. Why you trying to fud so hard? Want the price to drop lower so you can get more?

The central selling point isn't SGX, but it's definitely a good thing for the token/security.

Each application execution comes with a confidence threshold which determines the minimum level of confidence required for a result to be validated.
Before performing any computation, the workers have to commit a security deposit (stake).
Workers (randomly designated by the scheduler) perform the computation and provide a (signed) hash of the result they computed.
The contribution of each worker has a confidence level which depends on the worker’s reputation and stake.
When multiple workers provide the same result, their confidences are aggregated to compute this result’s confidence.
The task is duplicated until one of the proposed results confidence exceeds the confidence threshold. At this point, we have achieved a consensus on the application result:
- Workers who computed an erroneous result will lose their stake
- Workers who computed the validated result will share a reward composed of the application payments (from the user) and the stake lost by workers who published an erroneous result.
Workers reputation is adjusted.
