Making $140k a year at 25 working 36 hours a week (dentist). The dreams of early retirement may have died with this ponzi scam but at least I'm always going to be reasonably wealthy.

>> No.11809623

while you're larping, it's unironically fucked up how much money young burgers make from a young age
you have to be literally retarded not to be financially independent by the time you're 30 as an american, god damn. endless opportunities, low taxes. mongs go turboconsumerist whereas if they just worked and saved for a few years they could live the rest of their life without worrying about money

Dude unless you wake up every fucking day super excited to be inside people's gross mouths, that outlook isn't going to last you long. I've been reasonable wealthy for a while, but I still have to work. It wears on you. I'm 10 years older than you. I have a beautiful 8/10 wife who can cook (professional chef) and cleans, a child that is easy as can be & is objectively beautiful, a nice house in a cool city, and 2 dogs who I want to kick all the time. I've done a lot of cool shit in my life. I'm artistic, good looking, intelligent, charismatic, well spoken, and people envy me. I still want to fucking kill myself regularly because of the ball and chain which is WORKING to be able to support all of this fucking charade I've built. Truly all I want is to wake up every morning and just do WHATEVER THE FUCK I WANT.

You let your things own you. Unironically downsize to a smaller life, and take a three week uninterrupted vacation to South East Asia with your family.

I have the best job of anyone here.

>recruitment director for small IT company that specializes in Drupal development and provides recruiting services
>work from home
>spend my day browsing the internet or doing whatever I want
>once a month have to do actual work and hire for my clients
>make just under 200k a year before taxes

my situation is unique though and most people if my position would still have to work regularly while I don't.

I still hate my fucking life so if that's any consolidation there you go.

Yea our system is dumb desu. Get a premed, predent, or prepharm “””associates””” for two gears and then apply to four year programs...or even worse, finish a full four year degree.
Not to mention the bloat courses where STEM’s still have to take the basic English, history, art, etc. oh well.

Kinda opposite for me with initially wanting to study econ and go into the city but then realising the hours and cut-throat nature of the industry probably wasn't me

people shit on dentistry sometimes but find me another job that pays as well, with as easy hours, good job security, respect in the community, ability to be your own boss/run your own business, and very directly making a positive impact on people's lives. you can't srs

if theres something specifically wrong with it, then yeah. here's a list of clinical indications for taking them out, if this doesn't apply to yours, then they shouldn't come out
