Why is this shitcoin getting crushed so hard, /brap/? Wasn't it worth almost $4,000 once?

>> No.11800896

Massive amounts of uncertainty on the ABC/SV hash wars from people who don't actually understand what's going on.

this is the coin with the most risk/reward in crypto right now. but this is the only one from the top 10 that can fundamentally go to 0

It is literally the least likely to do that.
Think about who are the holders of last resort in each case in that top ten
1) BTC; the state and central banks
2) XRP; the state and central banks
3) ETH; the state and central banks
4) BCH; original bitcoiners who got into it to destroy the state and central banks and have almost nowhere else to go except precious metals, and even that's dicey at best
5) XLM; the state and central banks
6) EOS; the state and central banks
7) LTC; fucking nobody
8) USDT; a shitty exchange with a holding company in taiwan who tries to find anonymous banking in out of the way hidey holes before the state and central banks shuts them down
9) ADA; haskellfags dabbling
10) XMR; the state and central banks pretending to be organised crime syndicates.

There were individuals who bought 1 for 9000$ the day it came out on coinbase.

You spelled Bitmain wrong

>> No.11801451

>>11801308
Bitmain is diversified as fuck across practically every POW coin in existence. That they're maintaining a large horde of BCH is mostly due to the simple fact that everyone except coretards accepts that BCH is and always has been the original Bitcoin.

In the CIA / blackops sense rather than the moral sense, where both sides of the same corrupt coin are indeed and in fact simple organised crime syndicates. Joe Sixpack would identify the former as evil and the latter as good though.

It would be dead already without them buying it up. Also no one thinks it's the real Bitcoin as you can see from the market price.

Wrong, it would even more closely match my initial description of the holders of last resort being those who escaped the kiking of BTC, as opposed to less due to the dilution of holdings by Bitmain as well, who are simply in it for the raw profits and are using BCH as a hedge against the commoditisation that BTC attempted to force them into.
> Also no one thinks it's the real Bitcoin as you can see from the market price.
What people think doesn't change what actually is. Bitcoin is peer to peer electronic cash, as highlighted in the title of the whitepaper, expressly created in response to the financial crisis of 2008 which resulted in corruption of the monetary system, as highlighted in the genesis block.
If things were then as they are now, only BCH would hedge against the same situation, and only BCH is actually peer to peer electronic cash. BTC is a digital beanie baby collectible, completely controlled by the signers on the liquid network and lightning nodes, both of which are centralised and under the direct control of states and central banks. And all the idiots in the world like you who can't see the con don't make it not exist.
