My patience is getting tired. The chainlink website literally says they are partnered with swift. Still 50c. All these speculated partnerships are just that. The partnerships that have been announced are either worthless or "so important and bigger then people think" but its still 50c. The team cant even tell us whats going on even in a low key way, i guess i do know they dont need to say anything to the average joe. I want to believe everything link has to offer but when the practical side of me comes up, its all too good to be true. Im all in and will hold til zero, it just really fucking blows that my life savings are in this (a whopping 1,200 dollars) and the notion that i dont have what it takes to even get a dishwasher job, my moral is the lowest its ever been in my life. Im not even asking for $1000 eoy, i just need maybe 150 dollars a link to just move out of my parents house ive been living in for 34 years of my life, i just want to feel whats its like to go to your own house and have my own room. Im so fucking tired of being a loser.

You're the lowest of the low not for being so retarded that your retardation became pasta, but because you then went on to take credit for your retardation. This is supposed to be an anonymous board, fuck off to plebbit if you want upvotes.

Chainlink is a massive meme.
Etherdelta and idex got fucked. Do you really think these gambling platforms that need outside information will survive?
There's no legal use case for link.

I was looking at the examples and i don't see anything particularly good, checked the github for long and also didn't found anything related performance of network usage

the fact is, for extremely private information, descentralization isn't good

and for public use information, the processing power needed to make descentralization is waaay too heavy for what you need to do, if you need to register something in 600 cycles per second, doing in a descentralization way through lots of nodes is just insanely costly, so main data wouldn't be handled this way

kyber for example has to average all the numbers to numbers that are waaay too off from the real value to be able to calculate and make descentralization possible, centralizated exchanges like binance and coinbase can play at real time because they do all the calculations in a centralized environment before just using descentralization to offload the data

so basically connecting data can't being real time and that kills any purpose of descentralization in the first place, if you can't sync all blockchains in real time without some insane network usage then what's the fucking point, you would still use centralization points to calculate all the data, basically the link tokens would be used very sparingly for very specific requests which will make their price very low

Tell me about it.

"Sergey is genious, Sergey is Satoshi"

All those "partnerships" and all they can come up is a fucking alarmclock that works with chainlink tokens:

Send 10 chainlink into that alarmclock:
>Alarm clock alarms after 10 hours

What a fucking usecase.

if LINK doesn't solve that then it will get a price rising through hype, and we all know that that won't happen

the only bet you have on LINKs is that it solves that problem and it becomes the industry standard so the price of the link token rises by the sheer use of the platform

Can it even handle different timezones??? What if it's 10am in Sao Paulo and 6pm in Tokyo and I wanna wake myself up during a flight between the two locations... Holy shit link is such shit...

as far as i see, they seem to offload all the work of calculations from the sources itself, like the local apps doing the work, so chainlink would be just the data connect between data, but since chainlink can't scale to real time for large data because of what descentralization is(and i haven't seen ANY consideration about data that has a longs or floats or is from an analog source! even fucking arduino has consideration for that) it may end reduced for certain specific situations which would make the tokenomics useless

the only way i see tokenomics of links being widely used if is they can offload lots of data through the network at real time or at a high volume of work
