You actually think this means something? Certain coins are seeing upwards movement in this down market, and you're satisfied holding something that's only seeing sideways movement?

The Brave browser doesn't need blockchain tech, it also doesn't need a native token. Brendan Eich simply wanted to exploit the ICO cash cow. He's not a dumb guy, he knows his internet funny money will not unravel a multi billion dollar advertising market.

Do you think Google can't easily implement something like this and make it infinitely easier for Normie McNorman to get paid to be shilled on Febreze and Hot Cheetos in between watching cat videos?

BAT baghodlers must think that they've unearthed the next big thing in advertising, but the only people who are profiting off of this are Brendan and his cronies.

If you hodl BAT thinking you'll see any sort of meaningful gains when the next bull market comes around, you probably have Reddit bookmarked and you're gullible.

You anti batters really are some stupid fucks.

First off BAT is not limited to the Brave Browser, it is only a stepping stone and Brendan has talked about it working similar on Chrome to Ublock Origin.
Once it gets on the play store it goes into orbit.

BAT will be the fastest growling project in crypto once Brave 1.0 rolls out. The advertises are there, the user base is growing exponentially, fucking Brendan Eich is at the helm. A perfect storm for mooning.

Another thing that's interesting is that they're dropping some serious names anytime they use an example or hypothetical situation. Now with the kind of company Brave is, this has got to be extremely calculated. Not only because it could be a breach of public trust if they imply all these partnerships exist when in reality there is nothing, and the fact that these companies could easily rebuff the claims, which would be an very bad look for the company as well. But I'm sure they're well aware of these facts, which can only mean they have some serious heavy hitters lined up. Here's a list real quick off the top of my head, feel free to jump in and append it:

- McDonalds
- Amazon
- Nike
- American Express
- BMW, with a teaser that the ad would be interactive in a way where you can rotate the car and open the doors, hood and trunk for BAT

Not to mention that they have stated that v1 with ads will rollout before the end of 2018. I'm about to throw another 1k into BAT, with I could do more but I'm gonna hold this bitch at least a year or two if everything seems to be humming along. Very exciting times ahead.

sounds good in theory but I had doubts about some of those. Brave Ads will be good for pinpoint accuracy targeting, like when you search for a pair of headphones and Sennheiser interactive ad pops up and lets you scroll through some options. The ad model doesn't make sense for McDonalds though because why would McDonalds need to advertise in such a targeted way? Or I could see streaming services like Spotify have interactive ads pop up where you could even sample music in the ad if you want. The potential is there for brilliant ads but I don't see fat fuck McDonalds participating

McDonalds has always been kind of OCD about advertising wherever possible. I could see them being willing to try a new model.

Because there's strong psychological factors behind it. Here's another example that's in the same ballpark that may answer your question: why does Coke continue to advertise even though 99.9/100 people know exactly what Coke is? The reason isn't because they're worried you'll forget what Coke is, its because they want you to feel uncomfortable choosing anything else besides Coke. They've set themselves up to be the standard worldwide for what a softdrink should be and they're not going to let you forget it. Same with Mcdonald's. All it takes is one zoomer youtuber to post the latest video of him playing with the new McNugget ad on the Brave browser and you've instantly multiplied your exposure and are now driving people to try your ad, and by extension of that, your product. To be fair it takes thinking on a higher level to see these moves. That's why biz likes chainlink.
